CAMPUS LAW CENTRE STUDENTS’ UNION 2018-19
The Students’ Union is an important element plays a vital role in empowering the students and raising the concern of students to administration. It aims to safeguard the rights of its students and take a firm stand for their issues. For the Academic Session 2018-2019 the following are the office- bearers of the Students’ Union:

Infrastructural Developement by Students Union
Following activities were undertaken by by the Student Union throughout the year for the Infrastructural Development of CLC:
- Repair and Installation of Aqua Purifier for water coolers
- Construction of benches in the lawn near auditorium and canteen
- Fixing of dustbins
- Fixing of Suggestion box
- Fixing of Students notice board
Cultural Activities at Campus Law Centre
The following events happened in academic year 2018-19:
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBERATION
On the prestigious occasion of 70th Republic Day of our Nation, flag-hoisting ceremony was held at Campus Law Centre on 25th January, 2019. Flag hoisting ceremony was followed by Seminar on “Nationalism: Our identity”.
Fresher’s Fever was organised in Campus Law Centre by the Student’s Union. To boost the morale of the students, respected DSP of NOIDA Police, Mr. Anuj Chaudhary (Commonwealth Medallist, Asian & National Champion- 1997-2010) and International Wrestler and the Arjun Awardee Mr. Rajeev Tomer (Commonwealth Medallist, Asian and National Champion- 1997- 2010), both noted Olympians, graced the occasion. Along with the selection of Mr and Ms Fresher’s various events were organized such as talent hunt, treasure hunt, fashion show, bubble dance, a band performance by Shivam N Swar, and a DJ night with DJ Akanksha Popli. The event brought the students together in the atmosphere of fun and sheer enjoyment.
MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2018-2019
Moot courts are simulated court competitions which involve arguing on points of law by student ‘advocates’ before a bench of ‘judges’ usually comprising of members of the faculty and practicing advocates. Campus Law Centre lays emphasis on this activity to equip students for their future profession and to imbibe the ‘mooting culture’ in all the students. Apart from these activities, the Moot Court Society also assists the selected students in their preparation to represent the College at various national and international moot court competitions organized by different law colleges all over India.
The “K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court Competition” which is organized on an international event. The Oral Rounds of the K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court, 2019 Competition will held from the 18th to the 20th of January 2019 at the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi.
CLC-CCI (Moot Court on Competition Law): The CLC-CCI Moot court on Competition Law, 2019 is being hosted by CLC in associated with the CCI on 15 and 16 March 2019.In nearly 10years of enforcement by CCI, the jurisprudence has evolved and given rise to fresh debates in this flourishing area of law.
The CLC-CCI Moot Court on Competition Law, 2019 shall allow students who will soon be joining the Bar to analyse and understand this new law and its implications. With the growing applicability of Competition Law in various sectors, it is important to prepare students who can discuss, deliberate and appreciate various facets of competition law and policy.
ANNUAL FEST PROVENANCE 2018
The Annual Cultural Fest was organized in Campus Law Centre. The fest started with Sports Fest and the second day added more colour and variety to the mood with a musical evening, which featured a performance by Indian Ocean.The events concluded with DJ Night.
